Logo ideas for My Life & Me

So after creating some rough mock up ideas of the app I started to think about the logo and what its going to look like.

I have some basic ideas because its based on children and growth, maybe have a foot and hand print of a child but make it creative.

 I love this picture of the flowers, I would like to make a logo with this type of element. Showing a child’s life like a flower as its constantly growing.

App design ideas?

Knowing that my app is similar to an app called Instagram where you can post pictures and videos where your friends or family can follow, depending if you have your account set to private. I was looking at the design of how its set up, but the picture above is different to how it looks on a iPhone. But the main log in page looks really nice and I want to create a simple log in page for my app.

Another similar layout design I love is Tumblr, it has very similar posting options such as text, photos, quote and video. On tumblr you are able to heart it, reblog to your account or post a comment. With “My Life & Me” app being able to comment and like a photo, video, quote or text will be an option. One thing I really like about the layout of the Tumblr app is the friendly and simplistic look to the icons.

Using a calendar will be the main area of the app, being able to see the process of the child’s life helps the person who is in charge of the account remember to fill it out every day.

Creative pictures like this of someones child is becoming more popular recently, this also could be an option for parents to post on the app.

I had the initial idea of trying to create the actual app, but I may actually just create some mock ups of the app and create the website to explain the app a little more?

I like the idea of a scrolling website, making it a little more interactive. I started to look at how to create scrolling websites and came across some tutorials.

Proposal Research 2!

After researching for my first idea, I realised that my presentation idea with the child’s life app was probably an easier solution for me to take. I still hope to challenge myself my trying to create the app physically which helps me see the problems it will cause.

Proposal Research?

Currently in my workshop and realising after the lecture on Monday that next week I need to hand in my proposal idea of my next piece of work. Slightly worried as I felt after my presentation feedback that my idea last semester was not particularly great so now I need to think of something amazing.

So I decided to look at some go green ideas, Ive seen before on youtube and many of websites on the internet an idea that a 19 year old boy thought about cleaning up the sea, but I also saw something similar but instead of it taking up a huge area of the ocean the other idea was a sea bin which collects all the rubbish. I found both videos very inspiring and felt like I wanted to take the “Go Green” route.

I also remember seeing a few years ago a project which was taking place and was interested me, a shoe which grows when you grow. This is primarily aimed at children but can help a huge majority of the population who suffer with money and live with no shoes. It mentions how children at a young age grow very quickly, which means that shoes one minute will fit but the next thing they will have grown out of them.

Taking in to count that all of these are such amazing ideas, I want to create an idea that will benefit a wide range of people and audience in many different places in the world.
