Finished?
So i’m not sure if I have finished my work as I sent an email to both Graham and Clive asking for some feedback, but haven’t got anything back. So I suppose to just finish my blog and submit my work.

This is my final 1 Minute Me video. the projection mapping video and special affects are not in this because I was not able to fit them in to the video with my other work. But I have mentioned in my PDF how if I was to change my idea and do something different then I would include them and use the background footage which I recorded anyway.
This is my PDF which I go in to more detail about my work, which includes me talking about projection mapping, how I feel about my work and what I would change, my ideas and importantly my process of my work.
I feel like after completing my work, although I would have liked some feedback which could of helped me improve my work before handing it in. I still done as much as I could and blogged a lot of my ideas, but there will always be room for improvements in any work.

Finally got the footage!!
So I finally finished editing my footage, but after a long time making it look as good as I could. Turns out that because it was so windy the camera was moving and the picture jumps slightly.

After Effects
I have some knowledge of after effects before coming to university but one main fact I knew was to have a lot of patience with the software. When having more than one application open on my laptop, it seems to crash and struggle to render. Making things harder for myself I added in an audio track of me talking, so I needed to hear me talk to make sure that the images coming out of my head were on time other wise it would not make sense.
At times I lost my patience with the software trying to have my head open and the images come out very quickly to be able to fit all the information about me in only one minute.

Recreation of the logo and many other fun facts!
I asked a friends opinion on my logo and they said they thought that the lines in the circle where a little thin and should be made bigger and not to have my initials as people may not understand. So instead in changed the lines and made the initials to my name so it was a little more obvious for everyone.
I finished my script today and forgot to take my camera this weekend to record my favourite place, so instead I think I’m going to take a walk around cold old Lincoln and find a really nice view with either the canal or fields, I don’t really mind. I was thinking about recording like 10 minutes and then using the whole video for my background but fasten it up to 1 minute so you can see the time go past with the water and sky.
Something similar to this but a long version of the same place, to have footage like this behind me won’t be to much and take away the main idea of the work I do like after effects. I wanted to create a simple but effective look with the background, so it keeps people interested but doesn’t make people get distracted by it.
Turns out after recreating my logo again I actually like my new logo but thought about it and it does not really relate to me as much as it could.
I thought about myself and people know me for fringe, so I redone my logo and used the fact of having a fringe and my hair in a pony tail.

Projection Mapping
I’m really looking forward to doing projection mapping, it looks like so much fun!
I downloaded a software and started to play around with it but because I don’t have a projector I was not able to see how it fully worked. But I didn’t want to waste to much time so I just had a little play around with the software, mainly to understand it a little more and so that when it comes to actually using it with a projector I was not far behind because I had not used it before hand.
This is a little screen shot of what I was doing, the video of my brother has nothing to do with anything, it was just the only video I had on my hard drive at the time.
I’m still not sure what I’m going to have as a my background yet, I understand that I need footage which is relevant to me. Ive been thinking a lot about this and I feel that where I live? Like if i was to record a journey in a car round where near I live and on trains, because when I go home I have to get the train so It could be a little journey. This could work because in the video I’m talking about my journey of life and important areas such as university and college. This could be an idea, and the only time I will be going to home and be able to record this is, this weekend because I won’t be going home before the due date for this work. If I don’t get this done then I’m not sure what I can use which will be relevant to me?
